hello YouTube Preppers this is the Khans prepper with a video about battery chargers for SL A's or sealed lead-acid batteries for those of you watch my channel you know I like to use these batteries in the field when I'm making videos with my radio equipment and I have been incorrectly charging these batteries with my Schumacher battery charger here that I bought a Walmart I didn't realize this until I added harden power systems back pack units to my batteries with the voltmeter on the top but at times this charger was putting out in excess of 16 volts to the battery well exceeding the specifications on the side of the battery and in the case of the UPG batteries here are printed right there this is calling for thirteen point eight volts this charger was putting out way too much voltage so it a little online research and I realized that UPG not only makes batteries but they make a match
