in this video we're going to go over how to reuse existing DSC wireless sensors with a 2gig go control panel here we have the re 224 DT or a DSC to 2gig Wireless translator while getting the translator ready for use make sure to leave the plastic battery tab in place notice at the bottom of the board the ac/dc 12-volt power input this is where you'll wire your 12 volt transformer in this case polarity does not matter next you'll take the two long antennae and attach them to the appropriate ports on the terminal blocks at the top when you're done and have the device mounted you can pull the battery tab and reapply the cover when powered up this translator will automatically search for DSC sensor signals and translate them into 2gig so all you'll need to do to learn in your existing sensors is open or tamper them this has been Jason with dirty DIY thanks for watching
