welcome back everybody to be at home power monitoring project in the first part we took a look at how to wire this sensor here up and this is a voltage sensor essentially a voltage transformer that is connected to our Arduino and we got it calibrated so we could read the real-time voltage running through whatever circuit we plugged it into in this part we're going to take a look at how to wire up this clamp on current transformer a current transformer is kind of like a voltage transformer in that it takes an input voltage in this case an input current and transforms it into a different current so we may put 10 amps through here but out of this wire here we only get a couple hundred milliamps but what this will let us do if we wire it up with a bit of circuitry here we're going to use a couple of resistors or capacitor all that fun stuff it's going to let us plug it in just like we did w
