[Music] hello and welcome to this short video on a kupo drop ceiling adapter with 5/8 inch stud this adapter consists of a pair of expanding clips that connect to the drop ceiling tile support beams and a 5/8 inch baby stud on the bottom with a point eight inch knurled recess to prevent rotation the stud is removable leaving you a quarter twenty male thread to mount any accessory with the quarter twenty female thread such as an action camera or audio recorders this adapter is used to mount any lightweight fixture or accessory with a baby receiver directly under drop ceiling this is especially convenient when light stands are inconvenient or impossible to place in some locations to mount the adapter first make sure the clips move freely if there are a lock to just hold the clips with one hand and turn the baby stud counterclockwise until eclipsed move freely to mount the adapter push up
