this video is going to focus on the disassembly of the AKC PM lock mechanism itself for this project you will need a phillips screwdriver as well as appropriately sized allen wrenches to mount this lock you will need to remove the top panel this is done by removing the security screws at the base of the device one on the right and one on the left to begin use the phillips screwdriver to remove the back panel but take care to place the screw somewhere safe after removal as we'll be using this later now we can remove the back panel to reveal the security lug this needs to be removed before we can loosen the mounting bracket using the allen wrench we can now remove the security look from the lock once removed repeat this procedure on the other side of the device now the lugs have been removed we can finally remove the security screws using allen wrench slowly turn counterclockwise to loose
