First, find the perfect fan for your space from the numerous choices at The Home Depot. Now gather these tools and supplies. It's a good idea to measure the dimensions of your existing vent fan and purchase a slightly larger model. Step 1, is always safety. Turn off the power source by shutting off the breaker. Remove the grill cover by gently pulling down and squeezing both springs together. Then remove the fan motor housing with a Phillips screwdriver and unplug the unit from the inside receptacle to remove the motor. Open the electrical junction and disconnect all of the wiring. Next, unscrew the rough-in box and push up into the ceiling and remove the tape from the vent pipe and disconnect. Loosen the screws on the
