today's video we're gonna learn how to power a laptop and other 12-volt appliances directly from a solar panel without a battery and the battery is the most expensive part and I found a way to bypass it and I think you guys will find this interesting so we're gonna learn how to do this and we're also gonna test it right now this system is dead simple we have two wires coming from the solar panel that goes to a 24 volt input and then 12 volt output converter this is just here so I can measure how much power it's producing and then I also have xt60 connector so I can wire up multiple 12-volt appliances to it and honestly anybody could build this you could crimp connect all of these you don't need to use xt60 connectors but because we do not have a battery you need to have this thing in full sunshine if you want any power production at all you're gonna connect a laptop to the system and se
