this video will show you how to replace the fuel valve in your Champion gasoline only open frame generator or inverter make sure your engine is completely cooled before working on your unit step 1 empty all of the fuel from your fuel tank by locating and removing the fuel drain bolt on the bottom of your carburetor you can also remove the air cleaner assembly and detach the fuel line from the carburetor to drain the fuel tank be prepared with a funnel and an appropriate container and make sure you completely clean up any spilled fuel step 2 use a pair of pliers to remove the fuel line from the fuel valve and use a 14 millimeter wrench to loosen the nut at the top of the fuel valve where it meets the fuel tank then unscrew and fully remove the fuel valve and be prepared to capture any remaining fuel from the fuel tank step 3 take your new fuel valve and insert it back into the fuel tank
