hi I'm Andrew Rodriguez from a a Rodriguez Corp and fixed my vwm today I'm going to answer a customer's question the question was how do I take the RFID chip out of my old key and I need to do it without breaking it what's the best way to do it I'm going to show you that and I'm going to show you a lot more with these keys today come on okay so yes bet the RFID chip this is what it looks like it's just a little bit bigger than a grain of rice when you're holding key in your hands you'll find it located behind the VW emblem so I'm going to show you how to take that out first part we're going to do is open up the key I take one half on one hand one half on the other and pop it apart the part that lets you unlock and lock the doors wirelessly is inside of here the battery is also inside of here you can just pull it apart and that's where you would find it accessing the RFID chip is a littl
