Petcock Fuel Gas Valve Assembly For Suzuki SV650 SV650S 1999-2002

all right so i'm going to rebuild my fuel petcock here from my sv 650 this is 2001. so first generation if you don't know where it goes it sits right here on the bottom of your tank it's vacuum operated so that it only lets fuel through to the carbs when there's vacuum here to the bottom um it's problematic at least it's been problematic for me so this has leaked a few times i've tried fixing it apparently what happens mainly is like dirt or something gets in the diaphragm here and plugs it or keeps it from closing so i will try and pretty much rebuild this one i got a all balls kit here it's got new diaphragm new hardware new spring new o-ring just to note as well i tried using this amazon one and it lasted me maybe a couple months and started leaking these are pretty crappy so i don't necessarily recommend rebuilding it's probably a better route also this fuel filter is not my origina
