locate the Diagnostics port and plug in your ECM spy cable on the lightning it's under the seat on the fire bolt it's under the front fairing locate the idle adjustment screw behind the left side scoop turn-key on and set kill switch to run now start ECM spy and connect to the bike lift the throttle to verify the connection unscrew the idle adjustment screw until the throttle voltage doesn't decrease anymore go back and snap with RO a couple times physical snaps good morning bill there it is once idle reaches zero unscrew an additional two turns go to the diagnostics tab and click reset TPS then confirm by clicking yes go back to overview tab and screw the idle adjustments for clockwise until TPS reads five point two to five point five degrees it's going up now start the bike this number here let the bike warm until engine temperature is at least 140 degrees Celsius or 285 degrees Fahre
