hey everyone taste from Elva tone audio back again today and today I want to jump into multi-channel connectors with the DB 25 plug the DB 25 is just one part in a series of parts they were designed for serial communication uses by the canon company all the way back in the early 50s and they get their name because of the D like shape of the actual connector so again something that's not really developed originally for audio develop more for computer systems or just other electronics uses now when I talk about the Canon company that's canon CN n o n the two ends in it which is currently division of another larger company called ITT o Canon they've actually been focused on connectors and wiring assemblies for lots and lots of various systems for like I think like a hundred years now and any time you get into stuff like this especially like the DB connectors or if you get into the DL conne
