how's it going everybody my name is eric and in this video we're going to do a super simple upgrade on this lenovo thinkpad e470 it has four gigabytes of ram on it right now and that's what we're gonna be upgrading it's gonna be a super simple very fast video if you haven't already please give the video a thumbs up thank you guys so much for watching first things first you're going to need a small electronics phillips screwdriver i have my little husky brands the way lenovo thinkpads are is they are usually very simple to get into and to upgrade i only have three screws right here across the bottom i'm going to push those to the side so i don't lose them you push you slide that it's kind of a little locking mechanism and then you lift up and it gives us access to everything battery change clean out the fan if you want to change your hard drive to an ssd this actually already has an ssd
