Description
If you've been looking to go Core Duo on the cheap then wait no longer. PCMAG just busted out their Editor's Choice award on the 15.4-inch widescreen Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. Good reason too, since their $1199 test model shipped pre-loaded with XP Media Center Edition 2005 (TV tuner costs extra), sporting a 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo, 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, 80GB (5400rpm) disk, 802.11b/g, Dual-layer DVD burner, and ATI Mobility Radion X1400 graphics -- not top of the line by any means, but oodles better than a lot of those integrated graphics craptops, and more likely to run Vista with some pep. PCMAG calls the E1505 "perfect" for people on a budget who "appreciate technology" which well, pretty much covers just about everyone we know. Knocks? Sure, the battery only managed about 3 hours. Righteous pricing indeed for this full featured and powerful kit.

Product review & video
he folks here OS reviews you're watching our retro throwback review of the Dell Inspiron ai6 400 which is one of the higher configured models of the popular six 400 series and what made this 15.6 inch standard science laptop unique was the fact that it had media controls on the front which could control a DVD or a movie that you inserted onto the optical drive on the side directly without launching into the full operating system so had a separate quick boot functionality which allowed you to playback movies really quickly and you just pop in a disc and wait about 5 to 6 seconds and the machine would be on and start playing back their movie so it launched into this pseudo or very light version of I guess Windows to playback that film otherwise of course with Windows 10 with the current version of Windows we no longer have support for a DVD playback you have to install a third party softw
