the asus gx701 is the 17-inch version of the zephyrus s so it's quite thin with some powerful hardware inside in this review we'll take a look at performance thermals overclocking battery life and basically everything else you'd want to know to help you decide if it's a laptop you should consider buying starting with the specs my unit has an intel i7 8750h cpu the 90 watt version of the nvidia rtx 2080 max q graphics 24 gig of memory running in dual channel a 17.3 inch 1080p 144hz ips screen with g-sync and a one terabyte m.2 and vme ssd for network connectivity it's got 802.11 ac wi-fi and bluetooth 5. as a thin laptop there's no room for a gigabit ethernet port unfortunately so you'll have to get a usb dongle for that i've got the gx701 gx model here but it's also available with 2070 or 2060 graphics too the laptop has a brushed metal lid matte black interior and smooth copper-colored
